EFFECTIVENESS OF USING ENGLISH SONGS TO IMPROVE VOCABULARY MASTERY AMONG EFL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SETU BABAKAN AREA

Vocabulary refers to words that people use communicate with others. plays as a fundamental role in learning language and make English vocabulary mastery the most important skill person needs master before having other skills. This study aims analyze effectiveness of songs teach for elementary school students. applied quantitative research one group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design whether media chosen this is effective be used classes. A total 20 students who learnt Fun Course program samples using purposive sampling. Paired sample t test was analyzed obtained tcount 8,156 at α = 0,05 (5%) ttable 1,729 (tcount > 1,729). Thus, alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted null (H0) rejected which states there significant improving students’ RT 9, Setu Babakan area.
